Treme and The Walking Dead **Spoilers inside!**

Treme and The Walking Dead **Spoilers inside!**

Seen a similar thread about the fantastic Breaking Bad so though this deserved the same (apologies DesertDwellingGooner if you think I'm biting).

If you haven't been able to see it, Treme is by David Simon (The Wire) and is quite possibly better. If you like The Wire, do not expect the same in terms of plot (drugs, cops, city hall etc) but expect the same love and care with the characters and their stories. I've never seen a TV with so much integrated music but it works so well. Some absolutely amazing Blues/Jazz from New Orleans (where it is set post Katrina) and with quite a few Wire actors too:

The Walking Dead starts in the US at the end of this month. Adapted from the comic with British actor Andrew Lincoln (Teachers, channel 4) in the lead role, the title is pretty self descriptive. An american 24 Hrs Later but it looks real decent:

The Walking Dead has been great so far. Loved the first 2 episodes and am looking forward to the new one tonight. Don't want to ruin the second episode for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, but there's one scene that's fantastic.

Walking Dead is one of the few tv shows to have intrigued me enough to watch tv again.

Thought I'd revive this. In case anyone is wondering when the walking dead is coming back, it won't be until October. Apparently it was only supposed to be a one off mini series but it was so popular they decided to make 13 new episodes.

Yeah it's the zombie show. They legged it to the city though.
