It started in 2016 as a fan service with 80s nostalgia. The first season is incredible if you're into 80s Hollywood/American pop culture shit. The second season is good. But it's all downhill after that.

The final episode released yesterday and frankly, it low-key ruined my mood with how bad it was.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you are really into American/Hollywood 80s pop culture with those horror/adventure mixed with coming-of-age stories.

It's basically a darker version of The Goonies (1985) with monsters. At least, it was. It grew way to big and ended up becoming a mash of Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and Marvel by the end.

If you're curious, watch the first season and stop there. It's kinda for kids, yes, but also for fans of adventure/horror/coming-of-age movies that were so common in the 80s.

I recently subscribed to History Hit TV. Lots of stuff about Egypt, Rome, British history, architecture and more. Roughly half original material and half from other sources. Worth binging on for a couple of months then cancelling.
