Queens Gambit on Netflix. Excellent from start to finish. The little actress in the first episode was terrific as is Anya Taylor-Joy as the main character.

Highly recommended.

Thought I was going to hate it first couple of episodes because of the screechy selfish rose family
But once I got past that and grew to love the characters that anchor the show( like stevie, twyler,Jocelyn etc) I began to really love it.
Only 20 odd mins so an easy watch if not quite ready for bed
Just started the final season and really going to miss it already beyyybee

Chicago Fire, I’ll probably start Chicago PD as some of the characters are on this one from what I understand.

Startup is a really good tv series which I finished recently, if anyone’s looking for something new and different.

Yeah I didn't get past the 2nd episode either.

I preferred Ozark which was like a serious version of Shitts Creek.

I'm actually watching The Spanish Princess and The Crown at the moment.

Startup is a really good tv series which I finished recently, if anyone’s looking for something new and different.

There are a lot of crossover episodes and linked stories. it can get a bit screwed up if you don't watch all of them in order.

Series been excellent up to now
But the Diana stuff now is hard to watch
If you can treat it as a drama rather than a factual account then fine. But it is much harder to view knowing how it all ended
Regardless of my thoughts on the monarchy
A young woman losing her life and young lads losing a mother is a sad story

Yeah, I've actually enjoyed The Crown

I think the latter two seasons are a better watch than the first two seasons, but that might be down to me liking the new actors more than the former ones.

I thought the Thatcher actress's voice was hella annoying, so I went on YouTube to see how Thatcher actually sounded, and her IRL voice is sooooo much more preferable to how the actress portrayed it.

Also, f**k Charles. I see why Liz—though she hasn't exactly covered herself in glory either—is determined to outlive him. Still think a monarch is antiquated, but whatevs, it's y'all's country and it's made for a decent show lol

Charles did his duty and sired the brood mare they put in front of him. Produced an heir and a spare.

And all the while he was shagging the woman he loves.

It's not at all unusual for aristocrats to have arranged marriages and mistresses. Been happening for hundreds of years.

I quite like Charles. Comes across as a nice chap and does a lot for good causes. So does Camilla.

Pretty good, some unlikable characters/storylines but worth watching for Zendaya's performance if nothing else (she won an Emmy for best actress in a series).
