Scariest Film?

I've never really been a fan of 'slasher/killer' movies becuase they all seem to revolve around the same kind of scenario. Few poeple are road tripping it around and stop at a gas station then tell them to a shortcut and they break down or whatever and some people come and destroy them!

Im more of a ghost/zombie kinda horror guy :D

I am a big fan of the zombie genre too mate, but Carver is an entirely different type of slasher flick.

Yes, it follows the standard pattern, but it's the manner of the killings.

Quite simply, it's utterly horrific. I can't do it justice by explaining, you'd just have to watch. It's massively disturbing, especially towards the end :hiding:

I'm not impressed GES :(. Carver wasn't scary atall. :( Also the kill scenes showed you what was about to happen then looked away as it happened then looked back to the victim. I expected more.

Never said it was scary Tiff, I said it was disturbing ;)

You can't appreciate the horror of what happens in that toilet scene unless you're a bloke, then there's the scene with the nail, and the sledgehammer at the end.

Got inside my head :?

I watch a lot of horrors so I am not scared by gore/slashers etc. You know what film really scared me (I was a child at the time) The wizard of Oz. Its supposed to be a kids film but it scared the bejesus out of me.

If I had to pick a horror then Jaws was pretty scary. Watch it then go swimming in a sea that is known to have big sharks......
