Scariest Film?

'The Burning'

Its the usual story of a mad man going around an American summer camp killing the students with a pair of garden shears. Made me jump a lot when I first saw it.

Well thats just taken the two films i was thinking about silent hill and 28 weeks later. Haven't seen the descent and forgot about candyman.

Now for me to think of 1?? What about white noise, that sent a chill down my spine

There aren't a lot of films out there that actually scare me anymore sadly, although theres a fair lot that make me jump out of my skin. The Decent being the worst film for that.

But if I had to choose then I would definatly choose the Exorcist/The Exorcism Of Emily Rose.
Both are quite disturbingly scary but I just love them so much! :)

I love shit that freaks me out.

The most recent one was probably Shrooms. Dunno why, because thinking back, it wasn't scary, it was just weird. But that freaked me out big style when I first watched it.

Exorcist is the top of the genre though, easily.

Candyman is indeed a scary and disturbing movie.

Big shout out to Event Horizon, which scared the bejesus out of me when I first watched it! :hiding:

By far the greatest, and most scary horror movie ever made though, is John Carpenter's The Thing - nearly 30 years old and still has the best special effects you're ever likely to see - Rob Bottin is a genius :hail:
