I have a bit of an obsession with Zombie films. I have almost 40 now. (yes that is a bit sad)

Same here!
Can't beat a good 'zombie, virus outbreak' film in my opinion.

the hellraiser movies are so scary, if you are yet to see them you are missing out big time.

The first Hellraiser was good, but had a budget of about 45p

The second Hellraiser was awesome

The third Hellraiser is probably my favourite

Every other attempt at a Hellraiser "film" after that has sucked unbelievable amounts of monkey balls, sadly

Poltergeist and Amityville are great shouts.

I loved In The Mouth Of Madness, but that's partly because I am an HP Lovecraft fan, and it borrows a lot from his influence.

what about the grudge?
ive not seen it but a mate told me it was well scary.

the ring scared the shit out of me but i was younger and at the time never really watched horrors. now i watch them alot i dont find all that many very scary, more just eery. the ones which get me thinking are scariest imo, like 28 days later, although not really scary, i was thinking it over for weeks, just imagining what id have done in the situation. fucks with your head.

Oh yeah, The Grudge, that is scary as well

The Ring is scary, but I found the original Japanese version more scary

Pet Sematary & The Haunting were scary as well

Nightmare On Elm Street, had me scared to go sleep as a kid!

Drag Me To Hell / The Decent

Both are easily the 'jumpiest' films that I've ever seen.
Back in my single days I used to invite chicks round to my house and watch the Decent so that they would get all scared and want to cuddle into me to feel safe.

Then this would genereally lead to sexy-time. Worked like a charm everytimes ;)
