WALL-E

WALL-E

Postby Good_Eye_Sniper » Thu Jul 03, 2008 11:19 pm

Has anyone seen this movie yet?

I watched it tonight, and I must say, I have not seen a more captivating, charming or beautiful film since Big Fish.

It is getting world wide raves, and the word "masterpiece" is being thrown around liberally, and I must say, I am inclined to agree.

Honestly, you would have to be made of stone not to at the very least get a lump in your throat at least once whilst watching this movie. It is a work of genius.

Any film that carries itself superbly for the first half hour with NO dialogue whatsoever is surely destined to be a classic.

Don't be put off by the "Disney Pixar" label, this is a simply awe inspiring movie, and comes highly recommended.

Stunning

I love Disney Pixar. I'll probably take Kai to see it or I'll just download it.

Nice one mate. I think a lot of people will just see it as an animation, when it's so much more than that :) :hail:

That's the "on the surface" concept that people take away from the movie, but the director has said that it was never his intention to make an "environmentalist" movie.

The themes are plain and simple, basically about loneliness, belonging and finding someone you connect with
