Batman is the ONLY superhero...though the nerds will tell you he technically isn't a super hero....of course you can rebut that by shoving their heads in the toilet. I loved Batman Begins (best Batman since the first Michael Keaton one) and Dark Knight looks like the dogs dangly bits.

It looks good, but it's going to have to be monumental to top Iron Man as this year's best super hero flick :sundae:

Agree 110%! Though this Batman flick looks a whole lot more sinister than the last one.
Isn't this the movie which affected Heath Ledger pyschologically? Apparently he wasn't the same afterwards.

I hope it is more sinister mate - back to how Batman should be, like the first one.

None of this arsing around in spandex (Even though Adam West was a legend!)

dark knight opened here in oz today and i was in at the first session of the day (10am) . all i will say is that it was f%%king unreal and everything i had hoped it would be .

spoiler button doesn't seem to be working so i will discuss this film more in depth in a few weeks time after most of you who are interested have seen it ;)

I saw interviews with Jack Nicholson after he did the original batman and aparently playing the Joker took a bit of a psychological toll on him as well. He said that after playing that sinister of a character in a movie where pretty much every scene is dark and dreary he had to take a break from everything for a couple months to clear his head.

I know i was surprised too. but what usually happens once these films have been out for a while they drop down the ladder. But 9.5/10 compared to the godfathers 9.1/10 is this batman really the best film ever?
