That's on my bucket list.

Is that the old one with Clint Eastwood?

Yeah 1979. Still great though.

It is.

I reckon they all drowned and were swept out to sea.

 You’d have thought they would have found a body eventually?

Sharks.

Although I've just read that three out of every four people who drown in SF bay are eventually found. And that stretch of water is swam regularly now as part of various triathlons.

It's not impossible that they would have reached the mainland and escaped, but I doubt all three could have evaded capture for so long - especially considering how high profile the case has always been.

I may have to check for that film. The Rock has always been one of my favourite action movies and that's about a team breaking into Alcatraz to deal with a hostage/terrorist threat.

You should, its better for the fact that its true.....so you are watching history (in a way!) Clint was always my fave actor, which helps it too, plus visiting Alcatraz gives you an insight to all the details.

Side info on Clint Eastwood: Clint used to play a lot of golf at Pebble Beach which I stopped by at on the same trip. I heard that this random guy booked to play a round on his holidays and turned up at the allotted time to be grouped with three others. When he walked onto the tee, he found that one of them was Clint Eastwood. I'm not really into celebs, but that would have blown my mind!

Mayor: I don't want any more trouble like you had last year in the Fillmore District. Understand? That's my policy.
Callahan: Yeah, well, when an adult male is chasing a female with intent to commit rape, I shoot the bastard; that's my policy.
Mayor: Intent? How did you establish that?
Callahan: When a naked man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn't out collecting for the Red Cross.
Mayor: [after Callahan has left] I think he's got a point.

I think the first time I saw Clint Eastwood was when I was about 14 and some film came on that looked a bit weird. It was some dodgy looking Italian western, with crazy music and very unusual direction. I stuck with it for a few mins and then Clint arrived. The rest is history!

Superb.

The lip synch and terrible dubbing just adds to the quality.

The Aaron Hernandez documentary was really good. Gives you a glimpse of why/how he did what he did. Sad story all around.
