Once Upon a Time In Hollywood receiving universal acclaim.

Standing ovation at the Cannes festival.

Is anyone surprised?

As I said best film of 2019, give Quentin the Oscar now.

Rocketman

Decent film but I found it a bit full of self pity, secondary characters were very one dimensional & symbolise rather than portray characters. There are some nice set pieces but the fantasy sequences aren't brave enough. Good performance by Taron Egerton though.

Dark Phoenix. Not close to the comics, but, has a few comic nods. Acting is very good, and the message and spirit of the X-Men is there. Also super nice visuals.

Documentary on Netflix - Bob Lazar - Area 51 & Flying Saucers

Pretty convincing imo. If he's a liar, then he's the best liar in the world.

Honestly. re-releasing endgame with extra scenes and bonuses is a big smart move bc they’ll get everyone Hyped for spiderman far from from a couple days before the movie and they’ll most likely beat out avatar. love to see it.

It also used to be fairly common for re-releases. This just happens to be a special situation because yeah, beat Avatar.

The Highwaymen.

Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson play two Texas Rangers, brought out of retirement by the authorities to track down and kill Bonnie & Clyde.

True story that makes heroes out of the right people.

Costner and Harrelson are brilliant.

Okay final thoughts, Spiderman Far From Home decent, not like Spiderman 2 or Into the Spiderverse level good but definitely better than every other Spiderman movie. Show the spoiler
Loved Tom, Jake & Zendaya's performances. And Mysterio is really up there as one of the best MCU baddies.
My favourite Spiderman Ranking

1. Into the Spiderverse
2. Spider-Man 2
3. Spider-Man
4. Far From Home
5. Homecoming
6. The Amazing SpiderMan
7. Spider-Man 3
8. The Amazing SpiderMan 2

Loved far from home. Nice comic book nods, tons of humor, adds Parker’s intelligence to Holland’s portrayal. What’s not to love? Girlfriend really enjoyed it. A+

Phenomena (1985)

Cult classic for a reason.

I pretty much love most of Argento's works.

Ok I just watched it.

I dunno. It's either the biggest conspiracy ever, or Bob is a bit of a fruitcake. To be honest I ended up thinking either might be true.

But as Knapp said, "It's the easiest secret to keep...it's been exposed several times and nobody believes it."

Interesting documentary anyway.

There are some real questions about his education which he could possibly be lying about, but also it isn't so far fetched to believe that the US Govt could try and could very easily erase anyone from existence.

But so far, according to many people Bob hasn't gotten a dime from this. He even went on the Joe Rogan podcast and refused to let them pay for his flight to LA or where that is. The money he received from this doc, he gave all to a science program at a local highschool. So then you have to ask, what would be the point in making all of this up?

I'm still up in the air with it all, but once you start getting into the whole UFO community, there just seems to be too much evidence, and also, now some Govt's are coming out and talking about this stuff, almost to the point of admitting it all. It's crazy man.

I'm a big X Files fan so I had a lot of sympathy with Bob as I watched it.

And that company said they had no record of him working for them but the researchers found out that not only had he worked for them, but he was a star employee!

But yeah the University thing. That's a tough one. But it doesn't mean he was lying about the other stuff.
