I mean that’s who and what Captain Marvel is. She showed good comedic chops and also heart and strength. It’s the character.

I've seen Cap Marvel in the comics before and I don't recognise it quite like that, she was more mature, yes a bit snarky but not like a teenager.

Maybe they've changed her over the years but regardless it was the actual treatment of the film that bothered me.

Skrulls are supposed to be bad guys like the Klingons from Star Trek, Cap Marvel scaring of Ronan the Accuser with a first clench was fkin awful.

I can't explain how disappointed I am, Marvel cosmic when I was a kid was the first comic I ever bought at 10 yrs old, it was a Silver Surfer comic, I was really looking forward to seeing Marvel's first cosmic hero on screen and then this ...................

I liked the flip. I have a few iterations of her comics and yeah the past decade this is how she is now. It’s good.

I do like the change though because the Kree Skrull battle is fairly murky overall. It also added a bit more maturity to the movies. Added depth.
