Watched the Apollo 11 documentary that was created using the original 65mm footage.

The footage is incredible. Really helps to re-create the scale and size of the achievement. Great documentary, actually wished it was longer.

Caught up on a couple over the last few days.

The Irishman - Loved the acting, thought it was top notch, particularly from Pesci and De Niro. Will probably be the last time we see anything like this again considering their ages (Pesci and De Niro are late 70's and Al Pacino is early 80's). It's quality filmmaking down to the set decoration and attention to detail. Very good but still not a patch on some of his previous.

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood - Thought it was pretty good considering I haven't really enjoyed a Tarantino film since Pulp Fiction. I don't usually get on with all the overly pretentious dialogue and stylistic elements he puts in his movies. But I liked this and wasn't bothered that nothing much happened. Again the acting from Di Caprio was quality.

John Wick 3 - Madness. Absolute madness. There was a scene that involved a gang of Chinese attackers and cabinets full of knives that made me laugh out loud. Enjoyable stuff and I love Keanu Reeves commitment to all of this, you can tell he is getting on a bit although I wonder if that's part of the charm of the character. Think I read they are doing number 4.

Got loads to catch up on and not back in work until Monday.

Still haven't seen the Irishman. It seems far too long for a film I don't know I'll like.

Got that once upon a time one on DVD. Not seen it yet. Like QT films though

John Wick is a legend.

Bad boys 3 or 1917?

Loved the first two bad boys and hopefully the third is similar. 1917 seems like a copy of saving private Ryan.

1917 for me.

Looks like a mix between Dunkirk and Saving Private Ryan.

Wouldn't mind seeing Parasite when it's out in Feb.

You can download Parasite in blu ray quality already.

Stopped watching about a third of the way through, not my kind of film.

Nothing really must watch until black widow comes out. Bit of a lull in cinema right now.

Looking forward to 1917

Sam Mendez directing and a quality young cast. Lots of long takes which will suit Richard Madden, Cumberbatch and Dean-Charles Chapman, who have all done Shakespeare or West End theatre

Bring it on
