Ghost

Gave these another outing yesterday afternoon. Watched with the Mrs.

Both quality films.

Hanks is brilliant in it.

I remember reading that the scene near the end with the Navy doctor involves real Navy crew members and they were just asked that they go through the correct medical procedures and have Hanks just react and improvise. It’s an amazing bit of acting.

Nice one.

In an all-time list, I'd say either Fritz Lang or Kubrick. Amongst today's directors, I'd have to go with the popular ones—Cronenberg or Soderbergh.

The Darkest Hour.

Gary Oldman as Churchill is very good.

Watched Inglorious Basterds as well. Never seen it and can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get round to it.

Two good films.

Have you seen Fury? That's another good Brad Pitt film.

Another one that I've not seen. It's on the list though, think its Netflix.

Wouldn't mind seeing the new Sci-Fi one he made Ad Astra.

Hereditary (2018)

Weird supernatural horror. Reminded me a bit of the satanic films of the 60s & 70s like Rosemary's Baby or The Devil Rides Out.

I liked it.

&

Don't Breathe (2016)

Another horror/thriller. Pretty good.
