Screenplay, cinematography, editing aside, the way Marlon Brando obliterated everyone with his performance... When you think of the Godfather, you think of Brando. And, it's not even his finest performance.

The Godfather has two sequels but when you hear or read about it, all you do is imagine Vito Andolini Corleone as eulogized by the one, Marlon Brando.

My personal opinion is that Al Pacino's performance in The Godfather was very close to Brando's. But Brando was absolutely superb.

Also some great performances from James Caan and Robert Duvall.

My favourite film ever. By some way.

I thought De Niro's performance as young Vito was better than Al's.

He had the almost impossible task of interpreting Brando's performance as Don Corleone and translating it to a younger version and he did it perfectly.

I was particularly referring to The Godfather, but yes, De Niro was superb in Part II. At one point I couldn't decide if I liked Part I or II the best. They are both cinematic masterpieces, but Part I gets the vote. My two favourite films of all time. Nothing else comes close really.

The entire thing feels like a reboot where we're going to have the same exact same storyline of the first movie - Neo is clueless again and has to go through the same process of having an awakening and becoming "the one" but this time It's filled with Easter eggs from the first movie.

Let's be real It's nothing but a cashgrab but I'd rather have this than nothing I guess.

I agree on that.

I think a new cast with a new perspective on the story would of been the better route.

Neo has done his thing, his story was concluded and his deal with the machines was done.

I think a new story and a cameo of Neo or Trinity would of been more appropriate.

Def a cash grab, why regurgitate Neo's journey? that's just lazy, poor writing.

Finished watching No Time to Die about 3 hours ago. It was a decent movie. Had great action sequences, more focus on Bond, less developed villain than I would've liked and the most terrible ending which nicely wraps up Craig's Era. All in all, it's decent tbf . 7/10

Can't wait for Dune and all the Marvel releases, hopefully they haven't fked Dune up, I'm worried for that one, it looks good visually but if they hollywood the story line then its a no go, the story is what makes Dune special and if it doesn't have that then it doesn't have anything.

The one I won't touch is Venom, the character in the comics was great but Sony didn't do a good job for me, they rarely do, again, no love for the subject material just a chance to earn a buck and it comes across in the end product.

Yes, really hoping they do it right. Bloody brilliant story... I even liked the last movie when it came out (even though its a bit funny to watch it now).

Yeah it wasn't too bad and had some good action scenes like you said. Better than Spectre but I think Skyfall and Casino Royal are easily my favourites of the Craig era.

The ending got me tbh. Not sure where they will go from here or how they tie in the next bond or if they just go for a reboot.

Skyfall might be the best Bond film ever.

Daniel Craig is the most realistic 'licensed to kill' agent.

He plays a perfect assassin.

The other Bonds might have got you worried if they came near your Mrs, but other than that...

Was a good movie, felt more unrealistic than usual but decent enough watch. Not sure what will come next but no doubt they'll do something weird.

Didn't like Craig that much originally but he's done a good job of the role in fairness.

Skyfall is better.

Better story and far better villain.
