The Killing was the first of Kurbick's "early" movies I saw, and was quite good.

Body of Lies was decent but I suspect I won't remember it by next week

Fate of the Furious

8/10 - much better than I expected from the trailers tbh, storyline turned out decent although the next in the series looks very predictable.

Ghost in the shell.

A lot better than I thought it was going to be, I was also not happy they didn't have a Japanese lead for this very Japanese story / Manga property.

But overall they made up for it with a good film.

Also - The Founder
Loved it, I love watching films on how someone took nothing and managed to create a billion dollar empire and its based on real life.

Saw Ghost in the Shell as well. Best live action anime I've seen. Well done. Outstanding visuals and hit most marks of the anime. Honestly didn't care about the casting because they made up for it with other actors, and offered a nod in her backstory as well. Think more should give it a try. Especially with how fleshed out Major was, something the anime didn't do.

Yeah I saw GOTG 2 as well.

It was good, a little to high on the old school music novelty though but over all an entertaining film.

Think they should change up the tone for number 3 though just to give the gang a different look.

Just watched Arrival again

Just as bad as the first time

My rating after the first time was 6/10

Make that 5/10

Not even Amy Adams, Jeremy Remner and Forest Whitaker could save this

The question of the worst alien film ever has been answered
