is it good as the first three episodes!?

It is worthy of a place in the series yes definately

For me in order of greatness

1) Last Crusade
2) Raiders of the lost ark
3) Crystal skull
4) Temple of doom

No disrespect to the temple of doom, they are all great films but it is just not as good as the rest, plus that actress is awful.

yeah, last crusade is my number one two! sean connery is there, the jokes are good and hitler signed his book! amazing!

Yeah, but Raiders has that boulder scene at the beginning that everyone loves, the bit where he shoots the sword-swooshy guy which is priceless, and MELTING NAZI'S for Pete's sake!

I say again, Melting Nazi's! :sundae:

the guy with the sword is one of the funniest moments in film history, But sean connery is funny as fuk in crusade, its a tough one to call but im afraid im gonna say crusade

the guy with the sword was hilarious. i heard that he (harrison ford) had some problems with the stomache when they were filming that scene. they first wanted to do sth different, but he couldn't do that so he just shoot the guy! the rest is history!

That's true. There was supposed to be a big fight scene, but Harrison Ford just ended up shooting him ad lib. Apparently the guy was not happy because he'd spent ages choreographing his sword antics :scream:

Great movie. Easily competes with the others in the series. The effects and acting were excellent, and the fun is still there.

One thing I don't get. Everyone was telling me about a "big twist" at the end. Did I miss something? Because nothing that happened at the end came as that much of a surprise to me. :?

Question...

I haven't seen the other Indiana Jones movies (don't laugh). Do you need to see them in order to understand this one?

No, but it will definitely help.

There are a lot of "in gags" and appearances that will be lost on you if you don't see the others.

I would highly recommend watching them first :sundae:

Well, um, I don't know. I was very, very movie deprived growing up, so I have a ton of movies to catch up on :embarassed:
