Not even close to Skyfall.
More faithful to the traditional Bond but has a weak narrative that feels very contrived and a number of characters (most notably Belluci and Waltz) were criminally underutilized.
Good fun but not a scratch on it's predecessor. Honestly don't know how anyone could prefer Spectre.

I agree re Christoph Waltz. Seemed a terrible waste to not give him more to do.
