Watched this documentary yesterday, its part of ESPNs 30 for 30. Absolutely epic!

Talks about Pablo Escobar arranging dream team matches where he would pay players to fly into his ranch to play in a match against another drug lords dream team.

Watched it on ESPN classics last month I think. Is that the one where Asprilla, Higuita and Valderama go to Pablo Escobar's 'prison compound' and play a match with him?

Then I agree, it's a very good watch. Have to feel for that player's family. I mean, what the feck?!

On a side note I've always wanted to see a proper Pablo Escobar movie. The only decent mention of him is in Traffic.

Ah yeah, crazy how their own country contributed so much to their failure at that World Cup, death threats, kidnappings and even murders. We think our press do a number on our national side for exposing affairs etc just before major tournaments!
Theres got to be more to why there hasnt been an Escobar movie, I mean compared to some of the people they have based films on this guy is infinitely more interesting, he made the forbes list for crying out loud!

If it's the one I'm thinking then it shows Escobar's son and Galan's son reconciling.
