They've been showing an extended trailer as of 8:10pm this evening on SSN.

It looks pretty damn good, but I don't see any of the Apes talking, although still intelligent, in this one?

Definitely gonna catch it though.

Didnt watch the trailer, but fill me in.

Whats the MO?

Is it a fly on the wall docu-drama set at the Britannia Stadium?

Meddling with a classic. making a prequel. risky and I have no intentions of watching it.

I've got all the original movies in a box set and one of my young neighbours wanted to know about Planet of Apes.
Saw the trailer a while ago and i will defo be watching it when it comes out.
Always wanted to know how they took over the planet.

When i was a kid i actually thought they were real apes and used to ask my dad why the horses never freak out having an ape on their backs? :hiding:

Good film. Certainly better than the Mark Wahlberg film.
And you can tell they'll be a second film....

Finally got around to watching this last night with the little one. I kind of expected them to cause havoc in the city or something and it wasn't like that. Really enjoyed it and gzagee said there will be a second.

It's actually is really close to the original films. Ceasar and other's are in the old film's where they are ruling the world. The new film is based around the story of "Conquest of the Plante of the Apes" which i think is the 5th film in the old lot.

Really cannot wait for the next one and may have to watch all the old ones again.
