some of the recent war movies dont really excite me, with gay directors trying to unglamourise and make them more realistic, and leaving you drooling as to whats gonna happen next, whos gonna get super killed or whatever, then the credits start rolling

f**k it, i want to see them get trained up, "get f***ked in the ass" by either gettin injured or the enemies 20 times as big, win the battle, then shag a bird (preferrably a topless scene thrown in)

so you prefer a gritty and intense subject matter to be displayed in a glorifying, glamourising unrealistic shoot 'em up, no need to think, in your face, predictable 'dumb-dumb' style of movies?

i like seeing a subject like war being displayed in as true to life as possible, not glorifying or predictable with the usual "the good guys (always yanks) take on the world and win".

save that for fiction

Kingdom of Heaven is nothing when compared to Bravehart.

They've got to be the worst 3 war films ever. Troy was just a fcuking joke to be fair. Yanks shouldnt be in ancient war films. You cant really get into it when you hear some yank spouting his dribble.

Aussies can only just get away with it. Gibson did ok with Braveheart and Crowe pulled it off nicely in gladiaror :sneaky2:. Brad twit on the other and was just muckment in Troy, he really was. :snooty:
