Last of the mohicans for classical score soundtracks

Rocky IV for others

Transformers (the 1980's film) gets an honourable mention

Depends what sort of music really.

If we're talking incidental music, you can't get much better than Aliens for mood music.

My choice for "songs" in a movie would be, hands down, the Blues Brothers :hail:

Watched it fully two weeks ago.
I love all the hazing at the start.

are you a red patch or a Usec.....

Neither actually.
Not apart of any supporters club.
But I love what both do.

without question, for me the best soundtrack is:

the business

a brilliant movie and equally as good soundtrack (if you like the 80's stuff obviously). i watch the movie just for the music sometimes. might i add i didn't listen to or really like any of these songs before i saw the movie, then i got hooked on the movie and the soundtrack. the songs match the movie scenes brlliantly, which is always important.

1. Duran Duran - Planet Earth
2. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - Frankie Goes Hollywood
3. Mary Jane Girls - All Night Long
4. The Cult - Wild Flower
5. Loose Ends - Hangin’ On A String
6. Rick James - Ghetto Life
7. Simple Minds - Don’t You Forget About Me
8. Martha And The Muffins - Echo Beach
9. The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star
10. A Flock Of Seagulls - I Ran
11. Belouis Some - Imagination
12. Shannon - Let The Music Play
13. David Bowie - Modern Love
14. Talk Talk - It’s My Life
15. The Knack - My Sharona
16. Roxy Music - Avalon
17. Orchestral Manouevres In The Dark - Maid Of Orleans
18. Adam & The Ants - Kings Of The Wild Frontier
19. Blondie - Call Me

Any mention of Rick James reminds of these classic skits from the Dave Chappelle Show:
