FERRARI chief Jean Todt is leaving after 16 years with the F1 team.

Frenchman Todt was a special adviser to Ferrari and a current board member.

The 63-year-old, a former CEO and director, resigned his positions yesterday.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo said: “Jean Todt was a key figure in the history of Ferrari.

“His ability and passion defined his work and earned respect and affection from the entire company and all the Prancing Horse’s fans.

“All these years together — the wins and tough times — have created a relationship that will last forever.”

I hope that Ferrari starts to fall to pieces. Doubt it thought.
I think Todd had sort of taken a back seat anyway, to let someone new takeover.

The way things are going that seems much more likely to happen to McLaren. Especially now that odious little creep Ron Dennis is out of the way.
