I have been to loads of Touring Car meets which is great as you can walk around the track and find a good spot. One of the reasons why they won't hold F1 there was apparently there are not enough approach roads to handle the traffic but one good point is Biggin Hill is only 8 miles away and they could just chopper peeps in.
But i would not like top see them change the track. i have raced there and its such a fast track and you only need to brake /slow down a couple of times and as a local i know the track inside out and have won many touring car races there( o.k it was on the Playstation but local lad always wins on home track).
Silverstone is not one of my fave tracks Snetterton is my 2nd fav so i think it is about time to let another circuit have ago and one day hopefully come back to Brands.

Brands Hatch is brilliant, I did a race day there and drove a Formula Renault single seater around. Paddock Hill Bend is something else when your in a car like that!

Access isn't brilliant and to chopper people in would be great if not a little over the top for your everyday people

what do you mean over the top for everyday peeps they would love it make them feel like a celeb/rockstar i would love to chopper in. driving past there when they got the superbikes on is amazing seeing all those bikes in the parking plots. Snetterton was great for the BTCC night race best racing i have ever seen but the problem there was it took us 2 1/2 hours just to get out of the carpark.

I though you were joking to start with but you actually think getting people on a helicopter is a viable way to get people in and out of brands hatch, how many helicopter would you need to make it worth while? how much do people pay for this "rock star" feeling?
I'm sure everyone would love to chopper in to a race track but that isn't going to be the way to improve access and help clear the roads. Getting a chopper will be for real celebs and rock stars who can afford it.

I wouldn't be so against Donington having the GP if I knew It didn't spell the end for Silverstone.

I wouldn't even mind if both tracks could take turns each year - but that will never happen.

Although I don't think it will affect the attendance to much at Donington - there has been a lot of talk about boycoting the weekend.
