I would say Hamilton last two years has been Goat, not really put a foot wrong, Alonso might be as talented but he fell out with everyone and made bad decisions, on that front Hamilton done way better, politics and how you can get the team in your side is a big part of F1

Was gonna say in my post I think he really proved himself this year. Would've been easy to settle after reclaiming the title last year, but that qually lap he did in Singapore this year was where everything swung his way and that was all him because Ferrari were faster for sure.

Alonso would be up with Schumi if he didn't make bad moves ffs. Ferrari wasn't the worst move ever, and he did his best to drag a weak car almost to the title 3 times, but he should be in one of the top 3 teams now and yet nobody will touch him despite still being the best driver.

I think Alonso even in a f***ing Force India or Haas this season could've made waves in the top 4 picture.
