No doubt Hamilton is quick but he has also had a ridiculous car in a time where his competition has been mostly weak (3 of the last 4 years). For me the best driver is the one who can deliver over a whole race, defending his position and out driving his opponents.

Is Hamilton a potential GOAT?

Know nothing about the sport, all I know is Senna and Schumacher are generally regarded as the best ever.

Statistically he definitely has the potential, I guess because machinery is so important compared to any other sport it's hard to say who is the Goat

Sophia Flörsch had a huge crash during the Macao F3 race today which could have easily killed her.

Could have easily killed a bystander as well.

So lucky to have gotten out of that with no deaths.

Simply put, yes he is

If it's all about the car why do they pay the drivers £Millions?

I never realized how overpaid they were.

He is by virtue of titles won but I think he's always had the best or 2nd best car which makes it harder to really judge him. I mean he's not even the best driver of his generation on ability.

Vettel is worse though, he literally only wins when his car is miles ahead or he cheats.

Mansell rates him despite aknowlaging that it's a very different sport now. That's all I need to know.
