Signatures are images displayed underneath your post, avatars are displayed at the side, above your post count...

This will (I hope) help new members to the site:

Attaching a signature..

step 1) choose a picture thats a suitable size, anything that stretches the page isn't suitable.

step 2) find somewhere to upload it to if you have your own webspace, upload it there, alternatively use http://www.photobucket.com or http://imgur.com, there are millions more sites like this.

step 3) once uploaded, copy the URL of the image.

step 4) if you want it as your signature go to profile>signature, post the URL inbetween these tags

e.g [img]the%20URL%20of%20your%20desired%20pic%20here[/img]


Attaching an avatar..

follow steps 1-3 then instead of copying the URL into the signature box, copy it into the link to off site avatar box.

If you have any other problems, please contact your nearest MODERATOR who will be more than delighted to help.

I have just installed a new hack so you can now center your signatures.

The Moderators can now add your signatures and avatars if you are struggling.

You can contact any of them HERE Just click on a Moderators name, and send a PM. At the foot of the forum, there is a list of users on line. Those coloured blue are moderators, you can click their name from there and send a PM also, which will get prompt attention.

What does it say when you try to GES?

me have the same problem , it says the size could not be determined (of the avatar)

tried it again trina and it said updated successful , but the avatar is still blank . don't let it worry ya too much . i'll sort it out later in the week

No matter waht size of pic i try to upload for avatar no luck....is it a mac thing can't upload pics either and photo bucket is a no go o know main reason is I'm a dick can you help?

Have you tried using Tiny pic or Imageshack?
Failing that if you can link me to the image you want ill try & sort it out for you.
