USA is still the only country to win an Olympic gold medal in 15 a side rugby. Little known rugby fact

We were pretty bad, almost embarrassing at times. I know we can play better than that, but that was a stroll in the park for England. We have a long way to go. I know we'll always have the athletes needed here, but we need the game to get bigger here before some of those start transitioning to Rugby instead of other sports.

Someone should have told the Irish that you shouldn't go onto the pitch against Japan drunk! :) I don't know what that Irish player was thinking kicking it out on 80 minutes.

Huge upset and could see Japan into the quarter finals if they can fire again in their next game against Scotland

True, I believe one of our players is an ex-NFL'er.

btw, i love how organized the reffing is... top notch use of replays, et cet...

and its cool to see how respectful the players are with the reffs...

footy= pussies faking injuries and disrespecting refs
rugby= hard men, respect refs... ( prolly women and elders as well)

England v France cancelled cos of a typhoon

Why they don't move it a day later, I don't know.

Poorly organised World Cup.

Apparently it's clearing by next morning and only reason Japan v Scotland isn't called off yet is cos they want to see how much damage is done.

Wont worry Japan if it's called off that would see them through 2 points each

After seeing footage of the storms I dont think any argument is there to have played the games missed
