Rugby Union 6 Nations 2014

Postby EvAMY-CRAIGLEEAFC » Wed Jan 29, 2014 6:22 pm

Gets underway this Weekend. How will our lads do ?. Because i prefer the other code i have not really checked the times of all the games. I hope they are not at the same time as any Arsenal matches. If so i miss the Rugby. COME ON ENGLAND.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Maybe I'm biased cos i grew up being much more proficient at rugby than football,
I much prefer rugby internationals over football internationals.
almost every game is close, its only at where Kiwis are involved where a game is predictable.
So much pride shown by players even by those in the lesser team.
And no players rolling around on floor after slight clip from opponent.
To watch is much better than football in my eyes every match has intensity you only find in a handfull of premier league games or those at latter stages of cups.

England have a decent chance, as always but need to be at the games with right intensity cos everyone else wants to take our scalp.
in wenger we trust

The manager at the Rugby club in Nassau is from Wales, so I have a soft spot for them. Apparently no team has ever won three consecutive 6 Nations so hopefully they can make a little history this year.

I don't think so. The French look quite good and England won't let what happened last year happen again at Twickers.

If I was betting I wouldn't put money on Wales doing the treble, but i'm hoping for it. I agree that France and England are the favourites.

Owens is a crap referee and Nowell is shit.

2 mistakes cost us that. England deserved to win.

Oh no. That was unlucky. Lets hope we beat Scotland next week. Hope Farrell is ok for it. He was struggling. He is one talented player.

I know I'm Welsh and it may seem like bias but Owens is without doubt the best rugby referee around.
Oh, and Wales were pants today and lucky to win.
France tore England a new one first half but England hung on dominated the 2nd half and threw the game away at the end. Why do so many coaches insist on needless replacements

The only positive sporting event for me this weekend. Good win for England today. The pitch at Murrayfield was shocking though. Ireland won today. I would never have predicted that.

I think the scots deliberately sabotaged it to try and nullify England's kicking, same as Milan did to the san siro against us, otherwise why else would they have let that band on the pitch beforehand to churn it up? Good job England won to teach those scotch that their underhand tactics will never defeat natural superiority.

Oh i know it was a tactic. There have been incidents in previous meetings. They are poor tbh so why not do things like that.
