Was underwhelming but even so Mayweather proved that he is on another echelon to Pacquiao. Different calibre.

He is unequivocally the greatest of his generation.

Sounds like I was right. Glad I didn't bother!

That is his style. he's not really a true 'fighter' at all. he's just a extremely clever man.

Hes a genius! His defence is like watching a Serie A team like Milan back in the 80's and 90's when the league was the best.

Still, this doesn't prove much or anything because Mayweather knows he should of had this fight 7-8 years ago! He should of had the fight after pac-man smashed hatton!

They were going to have the fight but Pacquiao wasn't happy with the drug tests

Its more a Mayweather thing than it is a Big fight thing imo.

Run
When hit or in trouble Hold
Occasionally counter
Profit

Unfortunately Mayweather may have done some serious damage to the prospects of boxing moving forward, a lot of first time viewers probably won't be watching boxing again #fightofthecentury

Such a shame really, i knew Mayweather had won with ease as soon as the first flurry started from pac man and floyd blocked it and just shook his head! Like i said he had already worked pac man out out and beaten the guy, he was just putting it in motion.

Mayweather relies on ducking/weaving and landing the counter. He is a boxer who is intelligent enough to know that against tougher opponents all he has to do is rack enough points instead of trying to be the aggressor. He is entitled to do that but why do people remember boxers like Tyson despite their antics. It is not the amount of titles they won, it is the spectacle they provided.

I always rate those sportsmen who play the sport with the heart on their sleeve like they are entitled to give something back to the fans than those who just want to do just about enough to beat their opponent. People do not necessarily remember the sportsmen who have won the most in comparison to those who bring more people to watch the sport and help it grow.

All sportsmen are entitled to treat it like a 9 to 5 job but they need to think about the fans who keep the sport alive in first place. You don't need to entertain at the cost of winning but when you know you are going to win you can at-least do your bit in increasing the enthusiasm.

I remember watching fighters like Frank Bruno. He used to have this novel tactic of actually punching his opponent.
