Meanwhile Joshua is cowering.
Joshua is cowering ............. by sending Wilder a contract he didn't sign and fighting Povetkin because he got called on his mandatory?
Ok then.
If Wilder wants the fight all he has to do is sign the contract on his desk and mail it back.
I've already debunked this argument on the last page. Joshua offered Wilder $10 to $15 million flat fee with no PPV or gate money or a 20% purse. For the sake of comparison, he even gave Joseph Parker 33%. On the other hand, Wilder offered Joshua $50 million and he declined.
I don't even like Wilder, but this isn't something that's debatable. It's common knowledge the fight didn't happen because of Hearn and Joshua.
Its very debatable, do you know why? .............. because Wilder put out a tweet to the whole world stating "I accept the terms".
He then reneged, your description is negotiation semantics, Joshua wants to fight in the UK, that is his right, it wasn't just a simple "We offer you $50m" it was telling him to concede all his rights, fight in the US and they don't even have $50m, yes they'd generate it at fight time but they didn't have it up front, on top of everything else, Hearn flew to America for a meeting with them to discuss the $50m offer and Finkel told him "No we're not going to have the meeting, just sign the contract" !!!??........... gtfo.
Deontay on the other hand gave a stated acceptance of the offer Hearn sent him which he then didn't sign.
What do you call that then?
