Canelo is the greatest Mexican though he'll never be as revered as Chavez.

Morales, Barrera and Marquez are all up there too.

was thinking he's fast approaching Chavez territory...

the sheer # of fights CHavez had tho... ffs

Canelo decision.

Bivol will try to stay at range using his jab and footwork but Canelo will land the more impactful punches.

Only caught the highlights. Looked like Canelo was just banging away at gloves most of the night and couldn't break Bivol's guard. Seemed flat footed and not really looking for any angles.

Bivol will get robbed

Oh wow, i guess not. Did they try everything they could or did the judges score it right?

Edit: Yeah, they tried to rob him, but it was just too one-sided.

If Canelo somehow won the last round, this fight would've been a draw. Embarrassing.

Bivol won 9-3 on my card.

Canelo won rounds 2, 4 and 9. That's it.

Will do.

So I'm watching it now and I'm scoring round per round.

Bivol is winning simply because even though both fighters are technically excellent, Bivol is attacking in combinations and in bunches while Canelo is attacking back in singular shots, not a problem usually but the issue is apart from a few nice uppercuts ......... none of the other shots are getting through, Bivol is blocking all those single punches.

So Bivol is attacking and landing 1-2 of his 4-5 punch combo's, Canelo is attacking back with 2-3 single punches and is landing none of them and because their single punches the judges can clearly see they're not landing ........ Bivol will have sore arms though but that's about it.

Rd 1 - even

Rd 2 - even

Rd 3 - Bivol

Rd 4 - Bivol (I re-watched this round twice and still don't see the Canelo win here, all those right hands from Canelo are not landing, I counted 2-3 landed shots from CA but at least 4-5 from Bivol, at best its a draw round, def not a Canelo win)

Rd 5 - Bivol

Rd 6 - Bivol (almost a draw, Shawn Porter on commentary needs to take Canelo's d*ck out of his mouth, doesn't know wtf he's talking about)

Rd 7 - even (Cleaner work coming from Bivol but Canelo attacked more)

Rd 8 - Bivol

Rd 9 - Canelo

Rd 10 - Bivol (just)

Rd 11 - Bivol (If it got any worse would of been a 10/8)

Rd 12 - Bivol

Quite simple in the end, Canelo spent the whole fight punching Bivol's arms, while Bivol got through.

Bivol's defense was elite.

........... its Las Vegas.

Doesn't surprise me at all.

Also I've found when someone's a known favourite I think people in general tend to give them more leeway out of disbelief that they are losing because they're so used to them winning and or pulling it back.
