Joshua with a very lackluster performance, match could've gone 12 rounds if the ref didn't end it prematurely. This guy is in for a surprise against Wilder or (fingers crossed) Fury.

Was again not impressed by this guy he should train his condition. If he gets the right opponent he will get knocked out

Only two people can potentially beat Joshua; one can't actually box, the other is morbidly obese.

HW boxing is so shit.

I didnt know Wilder was barely 16st, he averages between 15.10 and 16.05st.

That's not big for today's HW's but it gives him speed, yes, he'll batter Joshua.

Watched the Joshua fight, I don't know what fight everyone was watching.

Bunch of armchair warriors these days, as someone who's actually boxed before I didn't see anything wrong with that performance.

Just because Joshua didn't blow him away in 00:20 of Rd 1 doesn't make it a crap performance.

Knock down in the 4th, got head butted in the nose which probably made him a bit cautious, on the way to stopping him, people not appreciating that a tall guy fighting a short guy has to be careful of counters and their ducking and weaving can slow up the action.

Also the stoppage, yes it was slightly premature but no worse than the McGreggor stoppage that everyone thought was ok.

That guy was getting looked at in every round due to his cuts, it was bound to be stopped as soon as he got in trouble and Joshua was beginning to tee off.

Premature? a little but nothing scandalous.

Bring on Wilder ffs (although I favor Wilder to win)

The overhand right is a problem for Joshua, don’t think he defended that shot from Takam all night

Isn’t that Wilder’s trademark swing as well?

That being said, the only reason he got clocked with it so many times is because of the height difference, it was a measured performance against a guy who’s head is made of titanium

Think he beats Wilder, loses to Fury

Fury is too far gone.

He's not coming back, and even if he does there is no way he'll be the same physically.

I can't see him beating Wilder, he does have enough power but Wilder hits hard as well.

I'd give height, stamina, agility and speed to Wilder, Power an edge to Joshua.

This to me makes Wilder the favourite, he's better in almost every way, Joshua is 2 stone heavier, he'll have a hard time landing and getting off shots on Wilder.

Except for actual boxing ability and intelligence.

His technique is truly abysmal.

Also curious as to why you think Wilder has better stamina?

Joshua got up off the canvas, found a second wind, and finished Klitschko in the 11th round.

We haven't seen Wilder face any kind of adversity.

This why I can't take him seriously -

Wilder is loose with his technique but those things Atlas pointed out would get you into trouble at MW and below because the fighters are sharp and quick enough to make you pay, not so much at HW.

The one thing that concerns me if I was Wilder is Joshua's power, but then if I'm Joshua I'm concerned that his robotic movement leaves his head as a target for the quicker Wilder.

I'm rooting for Joshua but I'm not sure he takes it, which is what makes this a great HW match up that Joshua is stalling on, if he has more than one more fight other than Wilder he'll be officially ducking.

Does anyone have a good website with boxing streams in general? Something like /r/soccerstreams subreddit?
