That's not going to help his punch resistance.
He has a glass jaw like Bruno.
It's going to help his agility and cardio though.
Ruiz is deceptively quick, Joshua needs to match him.
Also body shots were a huge factor in the first fight and he gassed hard.
Smart move from AJ.
Ruiz is still going to be quicker than AJ.
AJ only has a punchers chance, so he may have actually made it harder for himself by slmming down.
That's not always the case, slimming down from where he was (i.e overloaded with dense muscle for his frame) will help him to punch better, more flush, quicker punches.
There's no point in having loads of bulk if you can't hit quick enough to shift your weight through your punch, AJ had got to that point where he was becoming slow.
AJ is actually a bit if a d*ckhead and annoying me, his constant talking of mantra and state of mind is p*ssing me off, the guys ego got bounced and he still says stuff like "I'm still a champion" no mother fker your not, hence why you don't have a belt.
Today's Insta Warriors just don't have it, they're just soft marketing products worried about how many followers they have, the first bit of stiff competition they come across they crack like an egg, whether its AJ fighting a tough gritty little Mexican or Conor Mcnugget fighting a Hill boy from Dagestan ........... just know these mofo's don't mess around.
I used to support AJ but I was really looking at this loss as his opportunity to show what he's really made of and so far I'm not liking what I'm seeing, just this delusional pity party where he can't understand how some fat little Mexican dared to beat him, its a fight you fkin momo, man thinks its a popularity contest because in his Insta world that = winner, popular.
Disgraceful attitude for a fighter.
