I'm confident Wilder will land something heavy on AJ at least once.

He's done it every fight and even managed to find Fury with a haymaker and Fury is the most elusive HW we've seen since a young Ali.

The question is can AJ take it?

Nah

I don't think Canelo will move up to 168 again, that was a one time thing and Saunders isn't making 160 again - especially without his PEDs.

Depends, no one can take a right hand from Wilder on the chin ........... however.

This is nothing new, all boxers prepare to defend against someone throwing punches.

I'd also add, after Wilder got rocked by Breazeale of all people, can Wilder take a punch from Joshua ........... no fkin chance.

Both have power, both can KO each other, Wilder has the quicker hands, Joshua is stronger has the better guard and defence.

Joshua can walk Wilder down somewhat and if he traps him Wilder's in trouble, or if AJ comes in stiff he'll get flattened.

I think Joshua will have an advantage near the ropes while Deontay will have the advantage in the centre of the ring, AJ will be wary about throwing hands in space because his muscled arms won't match Wilder's speed.

AJ has to be the bully in this fight, guard up, carefully walk Wilder down, pin him on the ropes then go for it.

if AJ tries to trade centre ring he's losing unless he catches him with a vicious 1'2 without being countered.

All to play for among the top 3.

Wilder is a beast - the closest to generating the fear in other fighters that Tyson did.
He's the best right now and I only give AJ a very slim chance against him - if he lands his best punch early. Even then, I think Wilder could take it.
AJ simply is not a good enough boxer, not in the league of Fury, to avoid being hit by Wilder.

Wilder was out-boxed by Tyson Fury.

Fury was robbed.

AJ doesn't need to box as well as Fury. He can detonate his chin. Look at what Ortiz did. Nearly took him out in round 8. AJ would finish him off.

I saw what Ortiz did. He landed his best punches and Wilder took them and knocked him out.
That is why Wilder is the best - huge punch and great chin.

If AJ connects Wilder is going out.

I don't get where you've got this idea that Wilder has a great chin, he's been rocked in every one of his last 3 fights, even against Breazeale.

If AJ hits him he's gone.

Both AJ and Wilder can knock each other out, this one will come down to best game plan.

AJ nearly got taken out by an OAP Klitchsko

They’re both pretty static and relatively easy to connect

Fury is the best heavyweight in the world IMO.

He out-boxed Wilder and he'd out-box Joshua.
