Rules are as follows ............

No knockouts allowed

This is classed as "Hard sparring"

No judges because this "fight" won't be scored.

£20 to watch, nope.

So what happens if someone lands a big shot and KO's the other guy? They're disqualified? Wtf...

Pretty much.

The bout is a farce, its an exhibition in the realest sense, why the fk would I pay for that?

Its literally a sparring match, no thanks.

I wouldn't pay $20 to watch two old men fight, regardless. That's what pirated streams are for.

However, I am very excited about Dubois vs Joyce. It's a proper heavyweight scrap.

This doesn't make sense, you can bet on this fight.

How are they going to determine a winner and decide who's won their bets if the fight isn't scored and KOs aren't allowed?

Listen for yourself, the reporters seem adamant.

Can’t wait to find out who wins the pay-per-view fight between legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. on Nov. 28 at Staples Center in Los Angeles?

Turns out you’ll never know, at least not in terms of an official result.

The California State Athletic Commission told BoxingScene.com that its judges will not be working what has been described as an exhibition, meaning no official winner will be announced. Instead, a trio of former champions – Chad Dawson, Christy Martin and Vinny Pazienza – will be “scoring” the bout remotely for the WBC.

I'm so confused.

Seems like a loaded bet then?

The bookies are going to win by default because unless there is no way for the fighters to win.

What a joke.

............. all we can hope for is a Tyson freak out and he goes nuts.

Its the only way this fight is going to get close to entertaining.

I mean, I don't want either guy to get hurt but you don't sign to have a PPV boxing match then deliver a crappy exhibition.

The fact that they are trying to talk this up as well is pretty embarrassing, its just a cash out at this point.

I got my weekend sorted out with Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce on BT Sport & Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr on BT PPV live from America. We gonna see total destruction and chaos regardless.

No knockouts allowed seems wrong.
How can you police that?
Can't be done.
If one of them takes a head shot heavy enough, they are getting knocked out.

I do know that Tyson is in shape. Saw him interviewed on the Joe Rogan podcast - he's ready for a fight.

I've bought that dirty one month BT Sport pass because I get the fight then a months worth of Arsenal games without lag iisues from stream sites.

Also im a right sucker........

Why am I getting excited for RJ vs Tyson?

Legends I guess, only 10lbs difference but that actually favours Tyson, Rj is overweight, Tyson is ripped right down.

Not excited at all.

It's actually a bigger circus fight than Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell 3 because of the ridiculous rule set.

I was worried about it being a glorified exhibition but this is something worse.

I'll still stream it though.
