Hearns' opening flurry was terrifying and would have flatlined most middleweights, but Hagler had maybe the greatest chin in boxing history.

Fun fact - early in his career during a doctor's examination it was discovered Hagler's skull was much thicker than the average person, which I'm sure contributed to his ability to absorb a punch.

Anyway that is definitely the best opening round in boxing history and one of the greatest period.

After seeing the boxing version of video review, I am suddenly very grateful for VAR in football. What a f***ing joke this was. They spent 26 minutes on live ESPN watching the round and then made the obviously wrong decision. Absolute insanity. People are saying Bob Arum had to be pulled away as he almost got in a fist fight with Bob Bennett.
