The general boxing thread

Deontay needs to stop running from AJ.

Saw his interview on First Take and it was nothing short of embarrassing.

Even Molly was like "So you say you want to fight the best, well AJ said he wants you"

Deontay's answer "Nah we tried to make the fight before" ........... what!?

Man's a fraud, he thought he was unstoppable then he fought Tyson and realised the Brit HW's ain't your Breazeales and those other bums he fought, not sure how he even shows his face after he turned down £110m by Dazn .......... there's no coming back from that.

On top of that he's still talking about how he wants to kill someone in the ring.

Guy's a clown.

Yeah 2nd time he's done that as well, that's not classy in a "sport" if he ever did do it he'd regret these words believe it.

When he's in interviews now still chiming, he just looks a pathetic figure now and he hates the AJ question, he know's deep down he fked up, guy got cornered and tried to slip out the back door.

The reason I'm so p*ssed with him is because for 2 years now he's been saying he wants Joshua, the opportunity, rematch, money and all gets handed to him on a silver platter with a bow on it and he turns it down???

How does that fight even get made now? he'll never get a better offer, at best he'll get a repeat offer but that's it and that's if Dazn are feeling generous.

............... and the latest.

https://metro.co.uk/2019/05/17/deontay- ... t-9584918/

He was offered more than that already and the rematch clause he wanted.

What's happened here is that because Wilder was a whisker away from losing his title, that's put the willies up Finkel and he's now treating Wilder like a "one and done" fighter as in, this is his final and only last hurrah to make bank on this guy.

What I just don't get though is he's asking for money that was already offered .......... the mans turned him and Deontay into a laughing stock.

Welp.

Say what you want but Wilder might be the hardest puncher the sport has ever seen.

Terrifying power.

What a statement. Nuclear power in that right hand. Nobody does these one shot knockouts as often as he does.

I wanna say AJ smashes him as he's the better boxer and has great power too but i keep asking myself: Can Wilder whether the storm if he gets rocked by AJ?

Because if he can, and they go over 7-8 rounds, there's no way Wilder doesn't catch him at least once, and there is no weathering the storm with Wilder.

It's truly a 50/50 for me. Such a good fight on paper. Please make it happen already you f***ing c****.

Anyone can bang a full right straight against a sh*t house like Breazeale, quite frankly I don't know how that fool can be no1 ranked, he's a disgrace to American HW boxing, Andy Ruiz is 3x the boxer Breazeale is.

Wilder has a punchers chance against AJ for sure but he's very predictable, he just lines up that right all day long, AJ hits hard as well remember that.

But we'll never see it if Deontay doesn't take the fight.

How are you a professional athlete but you need a sports bra?

Disgraceful
