Yeah I thought the same thing when he said it. But, it is possible to do it from stubbing your toe on something.

Not sure it would of made the difference needed to win though.

Did anyone seriously think Haye was ever going to beat Klitschko?

Haye needs to learn how to jab,he kept trying the same s**t over and over again and eventually his legs started giving way

he's a boxer, he's supposed to be tough. Sportsmen are always carrying injuries. He's pathetically clutching at straws!

Yes i saw the toe, it was purple and looked f***ked! Still, your a boxer, you get hurt and you move forward! Even with a toe at 100% he would've been outclassed anyway.

I don't think I've ever seen Haye jab. He always goes with the left-right combo but, he came up short tonight.
He was outsmarted by Wlad. Great job by the Ukrainian.
As for the pinky toe injury, if it were that bad and it was going to affect his performance that much then he should've postponed the fight.
Now it just looks like sour grapes, which it is.

gzage i didn't even need to be said mate. the guy is a f***ing boxer! An Athlete. Injuries are part and parcel with the sport.

I don't hate Haye, he's done very well toget this far since i don't think he's really an outstanding boxer. Just good, and can be exciting

I just i like it when arrogant pricks can back up their self generated hype!

as a former boxer and coach, for an orthodox fighter allot of power is generated in throwing the right hand from the right hip rotation witch takes the boxer on to his right toes.

have never seen him fight but having said that i understand he is really a cruiser weight, the heavy weights have been a poor devision since when we were spiolt with Ali,Fraser, forman,Norten and later Homes when they were all fighting it was a fantastic division

I reckon he's been taking advice from wenger on how to handle post match press conferences.

Terrible performance from Haye... He really had no answer to Kiltchkos jab & reach advantage.

No doubt he'll come back and try fight so no-man heavyweight then retire on a win.
