Ricky Hatton's cocaine shame

Ricky Hatton's cocaine shame

Postby Rockin' Robin » Sun Sep 12, 2010 9:04 pm

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/96 ... shame.html

BOXING legend Ricky Hatton is caught on camera snorting cocaine in a shocking 10-hour drink and drugs binge.

A friend who witnessed the former world champ take SEVEN lines of coke in a Manchester hotel said: "If he carries on he'll kill himself. I'm really, really worried for him."

There's way more on the link, but there's too much to post so I just posted the main bit.

He is in the process of starting a successful promoting career. He still has so much going for him. I really can't see how this could be true.

He must be the most level headed sporting person that has ever lived. It's an insult to people like him that you say that mate.

And boring? How can he be boring? He could of stood his ground and beat every f***er in the world at his weight. He didn't do that though, he went for it and can retire being proud to of only being defeated to the 2 best (by far) in the weights he fought.

Oh dear, I don't know much about lines of coke, so I presume 7 is a lot?

Perhaps a touch of sensationalism in the script?

Agree with Yorky though, I always enjoyed watching him fight.

He wouldn't have done all 7 at once. Even if he did its not like he managed to fit two elephants and a hippo into a mini cooper.

P.S. IMF you hate everyone

Says in the article it was a few hours apart.

If I was his Mrs, i'd be more concerned about him spending a night in a hotel with some blonde bint, especially with him looking as sheepish as he does in the picture of them leaving the place.

I also agree with Yorky and SE, the bloke was always an exciting fighter to watch, he just got unlocked by Floyd which should have been the glove hang-up for him, but then he got worked over a peach by the Pacman. His after-dinner speeches were always comedy, and he always came across as a sound bloke in interview.

I met him once at SoccerAM, and he was a most likeable chap, had time for everyone and was happy to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Certainly not a "do you know who I am" sort of person at all.

Yorky, it's true all right

Didn't you watch the video?

These celebs need to check their hotel rooms for bugs and cameras

I know mate. I was pretty drunk last night when I posted so didn't even really read it properly lol.

It still doesn't bother me though.

I could confidently say about 90% of people who have done anything along the lines of coke won't be bothered either
