Right move for Ricky?
Hitman plans summer comeback after getting over Pacquiao defeat

Ricky Hatton has finally confirmed that he will return to the ring this summer to prolong his career for at least one more fight.

But is this the right move for The Hitman?

Hatton has enjoyed a sparkling career and is arguably the most popular boxer of his generation, but should he call it a day after losing out to both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

Hatton is getting no younger and after suffering two painful defeats and after multiple bruising victories how much more can he have left in the tank?

Weight issues will again be a worry and surely none of his legion of fans want him to end his career with an embarrassing loss against a lesser opponent if he indeed proves to be over the hill.

Or do you believe Hatton can still mix it with the best, and is one final hurrah in front of his home fans the send-off he deserves, and if so who should he face?

Just spotted that when I was scanning through one of the tabloid websites, can't remember which one though. (Maybe The Sun)

I don't think it's a great move for him to be honest, unless he's looking for a "soft" target to bow out of in front of a packed crowd at Eastlands.....

I'd love him to fight Junior Witter.
I assume he'll fight Juan Manuel Marquez though.

Junior Witter?
Why not Kevin Mitchell? Young, up n coming. If he was to beat Mitchell surely Khan would have to take even more notice of a potential British 'superfight'.

Because Mitchell and Khan are both promoted by Frank Warren, which means that Hatton cannot/will not fight them.

He is now, he wasn't when i posted.

It looks like Khan will fight Marquez next so i'm not sure who Hatton will line up as an opponent.
Lovemore N'dou maybe?
