That punch! Wow. Just wow!
There was 8 of us in front of my TV screaming for David to knock him da fugg out!!
We were worried the judges would be homers. But they scored on the fact that Haye actually threw the clean punches. Valuev constantly threw airshots.

That feckn Jim Watt, didn't want to give Haye his due. The boy won and he deserved it!!!
t**t.

But that punch...

I've just seen that punch, and what an epic it was, the Russian just turned to jelly! How he stayed on his feet I don't know, he was all but out of it.

Good result though, very pleasing.

wow , haven't seen the fight yet but what a result . didn't give haye much of a chance and thought valuev would just lean on him and wear him out . great to see haye beat the big **** !!!

great win, haymaker wasn't punching a lot, but when he hit him that was all on right place! to bad he didn't knock out the big beast, but that was first time i saw him shaking!!
great defence too, finaly some exciting boxer, can't wait for he's next matches!!

It was all about Hayes defence really which won it. I'm pleased the judges saw it like that as well. Valuev hardly connected a punch! It looked like he was controlling the fight with having the centre of the ring the whole fight but by the looks of it, Haye planned on that before the fight. Get in - punch - get out is all he needed to do and he did. No idea how he managed to stick to the game plan for 11 and a half rounds. It must be difficult to not get tempted to try something else.

Round 12:

Apparently Haye injured his hand in the first or second round which makes the win even more impressive.

Nice one Cynical...... He almost rocked him a second time, Valuev looked a bit shaky a few seconds later after a couple of shots.

Which makes him nearer a Lewisham lad than Bromley, even though it's Southwark.

f***ing fantastic win by the the Hayemaker! :D
He had a gameplan and stuck to it,showing great discliplin. Although theat really was the only way he could have went about that fight and won it.

Valuev was a disgrace last night, shufled about punching thin air for the majority of the fight and I was so glad when he won becuase Haye produced a much more effective style and when he went forward he connected.
Valuev shouldnt have scored points just for shuffling towards Haye and missing with over 3/4 of his punches.
