De la Hoya calls time on career

Boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya has announced his retirement from the sport at the age of 36.

De la Hoya, nicknamed 'Golden Boy', held world titles at six different weights and ends with a win-loss record of 39-6 with 30 knockouts

Saw this coming to be honest.
He was embarassed by Manny and he looked a spent force. Always will hold him as a great boxer though,knew his stuff and with his Golden Boy Promotions company,I cant see him making a comeback becuase he cartianly wont need the cash.

Credit to his sport. Never ducked a fight and fought the best AT THEIR BEST.
Made loads of money. Can't argue with that. Will make more now he's devoted his attention to promoting full time.
