Absolutely agree.
Whyte vs Wilder in particular would be spectactular.
Wilder would have him on the deck inside five rounds.

Maybe, maybe not.
When's Wilder ever fought a game opponent with power and decent skill?
Wilders only ever beat up on over the hill guys or washed up contenders who no one knows, Wilder practically has one good name on his resume and that guy was 40+ years old.
Its about time Wilder fought some proper opponents.
AJ has fought Klitschko, Parker, Takam, Povetkin, Ruiz, Whyte, Pulev.
Wilder has fought Brezeale, Washington, Stiverne, Duhapuas.
I mean ffs what is that? the only good fighters he's boxed was an over the hill Ortiz who rocked him and Fury who steam rolled him in the rematch.
Wilder has skated well wide of talented challengers.

I think Fury showed that Wilder can not fight on the back foot. He can be steam rollered. Whether Whyte could do it AND stay away from the desperate attempts of Wilder to land one big punch is an open question. Whyte is not Fury when it comes to boxing smarts.

Whyte gets caught. He doesn't have the skill to avoid big punches over a number of rounds.
Even when he fought Derek Chisora he was getting caught left right and centre, and Chisora is as slow as they come.
Wilder would catch him with a bomb and put him to sleep.

Wilder may be done anyhow... he made a big thing about his standing of being the best and it must have taken a lot away from his confidence to be not just beaten by Fury , but beaten up, outboxed, overpowered, destroyed.

Not if they keep performing the way Roy Jones did against Tyson.
I've never seen Roy look so much like he didn't want to fight in my life, the interview, before and during the fight, Roy just looked like he didn't want to be involved.
Plus Tyson was deliberately hunting the body, being too merciful for my liking.
Either be competitive or don't bother, they're fighting people their own age, so there is no advantage.

They're just doing to it make some money. Nobody wants to get hurt.

That was some serious speed and accuracy with power punches from Benn.

Then you don't box, simple as that.
Boxing is essentially a fight, its not Tennis ffs.
Its a disgrace to the sport I know and love to try and make an exhibition a professional bout.
Unless you clearly state its an exhibition then that's different.
