Chv, you have to pay an extreme premium for personalised number plates over here.

At auction that number plate would probably go for over a grand.

In the USA this kind of number plate is, more appropriately, known as a "vanity plate"

Over a grand? Having a laugh mate. That number plate was on sale for £250 in 2008.

I know it was £250 as it was on the DVLA site for that much last year at some point. I was gonna buy it and retain it... but then decided it'd be a decade before I buy an "08" car... lol

Well stone me, the DVLA don't usually let them go for that cheap, then they usually fetch massive prices at auction, especially for ones like these.

They had my name for £245 one year and the next year it was £2,450! So the DVLA don't have a clue what they're doing.

I'm sure that plate was posted on here before.

I had a look at plates the other week but anything with 'TVR' in it is over £3K!
Sod that.

Nice plate, but I live to near to Tottenham, they would only vandalise my car lol
