If someone told me at the start of the tournament we'd get Spain in the final, I'd have taken it.

Yamal to be taught a lesson and sent back to do his GCSEs or whatever Spanish equivalent is.

The best player in Spain plays for England. Surely we can't mess this up

Wow, just wow. Strongly felt it would be a 1-1 with extra time all day, but Watkins changed everything. Well done to the team and on to Sunday. Please can we put 2024 in the books so the 1966 team can rest in peace? And maybe so Geoff Hurst can celebrate like they all deserve to again.

By the way, Laura Woods looks......blooming.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Spain are better, Williams and Yamal have got everyone looking, Olmo is playing like a seasoned pro, Ruiz is tapping in to his inner Busquet and Rodri is being Rodri.

... turns out Morata isn't shit at doing a job for the team either, and Curcurella isn't a pubber! Who knew!?

But I don't care, I just wanna see that same formation and to see Kane let the trigger go a little more. The formation shift has everyone looking a lot more fluid and natural. It's far from perfect, and we haven't shown anything close to what Spain have shown. But there's potential, and the difference in Foden alone is night and day.

We've got a fighting chance.

Spain has the better football but! England will try to drag them down to their level I hope not. Spain will go out to win and play football England will go out not to lose and pray for their luck to hold out and scrap a win. Kane will be practising his diving skills that's for sure.

Kane pen wasn't even a dive it was an absolute howler from the ref, a 50/50 ball both high foot worst decision I think I have seen.
I hope England win I always do, but that was just shit from the ref.

Agree. I can see how that would've hurt a lot so I totally understand Kane going down. Not a penalty in a million years though.

It's a must win

No excuses for Southgate

He has a team full of world class players. Only Rodri gets in ahead of Mainoo.

All comes down to Southgate's tactics.

We were much better against NL first half tbh

Who do you have winning tonight, folks?

Head says Spain. That's the only logical answer. But I wouldn't be surprised if England pulled it off this time around.

I reckon England beat Spain about 1 in 10 times with a fluke, so it's possible.
But head says Spain.
I honestly think a combined 11 would be Saka plus 10 from Spain.
Defence will have to be perfect tonight because the Spanish can cut teams open and it's not like England have looked very secure.

Tough one. Spain favorites cos of the way they've played but in a combined team you have only rodri in from Spain as a certainty and maybe a couple of others as maybe.

If our players are on form and click, we win it. Any drop and Spain have a chance.

Our midfield is better. Our attack is better. All about holding our nerve

For the sake of football, I hope Spain wins it, England will probably try to bore Spain to death and wear them down with negative football. Pity as they have some good players in England but the manager is shite. England have had the rub of the green all the way through the tournament but their luck has to run out sometimes and tonight could be that night it does. Watkins, Palmer and Toney all deserve to start over the serial diver Kane but they won't.
