Auba's on 23 goals and 9 assists. Far from being done.

Auba is regaining his form somewhat. Though Laca is as prolific as he was in his pre-Arsenal Ligue 1 stint.

Auba was our best Emirates era striker. and Laca was disrespected. he was our player fo the year in 18/19.

Finished the season with a staggering 41 G+A in all comps. Class is permanent.

Auba was nowhere near RVP or Alexis.

Context matters. Auba put up big numbers playing under 3 different managers and tactical setups, and delivered our last trophy pretty much singlehandedly.

Alexis isn't a CF and didn't reach the 50 goal mark faster than Henry -- Auba did.

Wenger bent over backwards to accommodate RVP's fitness issues, and got 1.5 great seasons out of 8 for his troubles.

Doesnt change the fact that RVP > auba by a landslide.

I don't know how anyone thought otherwise, seriously.

Its like when a player leaves Arsenal he must be shit, nonsense, top players do not lose their ability like falling off a cliff

How ?

Auba got a goal or assist in 69% of his games, RVP got a goal or assist in 67% of his. In terms of minutes played, Auba got a goal or assist every 113 mins, RVP got a goal or assist every 99 mins.

Thats hardly a landslide. Did RVP have more talent ? Of course, undeniable but for effectiveness at Arsenal there is no way you can say RVP was better let alone much better - with any authority.

RVP had a far more creative midfield feeding him lollipops than Auba ever did. Auba was dealing with Emery and Arteta, two anti-striker managers.

Has he ever spoken about his departure before? Good to hear his side. And as expected, Arteta is a c***

Pathetic from Arteta. Emotional reaction to ban him (with no replacement lined up) plus cowardice in getting the doctor to call him instead of relaying his decision in person like a man. Least he could do for a player who delivered his 1 trophy.

Predictably, Edu, who should be the voice of reason, completely capitulated to Teta's demands and handed Auba £10m to go play for Barca.
