The History Of Arsenal FC

Post any questions you have relating to the history of Arsenal,

I'd like to know about the 1919 season - if anyone has any info, because I've not heard much about it....

I'd like to know if Kenny Sansom playing for England was a crime or not?.....

I'd like to know if 15 years of half decent football can actually make a club, and if the previous 100odd years of embarrassing dross can be wiped out that easily?......

I'd like to know if Arsenal "fans" sang a real-life football song after you beat Liverpool at Anfield in '89, not sure, but rumours have it that your fans sang a song - don't shoot me, I don't believe it either!?.....

Also I'd like to know if Eboue is the most hate inducing player you have ever had, as you've had a few?.......

Appreciate any replies,

cheers......

That's very true and, yes, it really is 47 years since the league title resided at Shite Fart Pain.

We finished 10th with 42 points in Division 1, while your rabble slummed it down in Division 2  And we've been in the top flight ever since, unlike certain teams I could mention!

Id also like to know how spursfan feels about his club *cough* team feel about having to pay Arsenal in excess of £5m for signing Bentley from Blackburn? :sneaky2:

OH & btw it was 1918 the promotion took place not 1919, it was 1919 being the season it affected. Know your history.

Something which genuinely baffles me is since our achievements are obviously so much more impressive than theirs then what is the point of their fans inviting such unfavourable comparisons? Dear dear, talk about "Turkeys voting for Christmas"

I'd like to know if spurs fan(atic)s will be burning effigies of Keane like they did with Campbell when he left them for a superior team, classy bunch that they are

I'd like to know how it feels to go 9 years without winning a league game against your LOCAL rivals?

I'd say rivals in general, but you don't really count as league rivals, regardless of your back to back 5th place finishes. We were always going to beat you to 4th.

March St. Totteringham's day this season folks.

Whoa spursfan what are you smoking? and how old are you? 15 years makes us a half decent team? In case you know nothing about football history *wink wink* we are one of the few teams that have won trophies throughout our entire history. I am not about to rattle off triumphs but if you want to try and have a dig at least talk sense.
