Sat watching the 90/91 season highlights. I forget sometimes how good Limpar [and some of the others in the squad] actually was [were].

I saw him make his debut in the Makita tournament at the old Wembley.

Met Tommy Smith (Liverpool legend) that day as well. Had a quick chat with him over a beer.

My first fave player, was gutted when he joined Everton.

That other Swedish guy we had for one season was pretty good also, Stefan Schwarz, he was our only decent player that season.

I remember reading about the goal in the Makita on the Saturday morning and being convinced we were going to be champions. Had a real impact in the title winning season, scored a great goal against dirty Leeds in the cup and not too far from when he left (I think) he scored a 40 yard chip against Liverpool which was almost overlooked by the media as a whole.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name
