Bergkamp was mainly a winger at Ajax, played a bit up front, left for inter, got replaced by baggio then played as a striker for us for 1 season until we got a decent manager.

5th under Rioch I was getting confused with the 12th of Graham, like I said 'off the top of my head' I mean take that as a victory if you want, but you still look like a dick as usual so I win either way :)

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. It's best you do leave it

Zzzzzz i'll make sure i study the history of football for exact dates etc (god forbid mixing up 1994 and 1995 its only been 25/26 years) before typing in a discussion from now on.

PS not cool mentioning peoples parents, i wouldn't do that personally.

Troll/Victim.

Other players have said the same thing. Winning culture disappeared. Down to Wenger.

Guys, if you have an hour to spare, watch this. It's so insightful.

Wenger, joined by a surprise guest later, talks about the UCL Final in 2006, the stadium move, football ownership in England, VAR, money in football, leadership and captains, etc.

It's a gem.

Edit:

The UCL Final, is he talking about Kolo or Eboue?

↑ Rice is 100% referring to Eboué. Touré was marking Larsson: there wasn't an awful lot more he could have done to prevent his lay-off. Eto'o was also well out of Kolo's reach for him to make a recovery tackle.

Eboué had a lapse of concentration and lost Eto'o. Hence his subsequent desperate gesticulating towards the linesman, hoping Eto'o would be flagged offside.

Yeah, makes sense.

Also, Rice seems to have a disdain for the man he was talking about (Eboue). Doubt he'd speak in the same manner if it were an Invincible.

I felt it so much when Wenger said that we didn't even have a chance to play 11 v 11. That loss wouldn't have hurt as much.

Darkest night for us.

Imagine a world if we'd signed Ronaldo and had won the UCL that night. History would be different.

I also found it interesting that Wenger still contemplates if he should have brought on Flamini on at the time, and taken off Cesc instead of Bobby. Both (Bobby and Cesc) have always been defensive liabilities, but I most certainly feel Bobby had that moment of magic in him, so Flamini for Cesc would have made more sense. 'Course Almunia had to come on.

Tragic.

Losing a champions league final was not a dark night for arsenal. It should have been a launchpad for greater things.
That's what I find so galling about modern football fans.
Being virtually the only fan in our end still clapping our players off after the league cup final defeat to Birmingham... that's what you do
We'll support you ever more is not an empty phrase but a message that needs to be conveyed.
Losing on penalties at bradford is a dark night.
A champions league defeat is a call to do better next season.
After that game I walked through chapel market with my son proud that the club I supported had been involved in the final of the premier European club competitions. The fact that it was not shared reflected on the nature of fans now. We need to grow up and bounce back better. We need to show these players who are only passing through what it means to be involved with this great club
It's our job
Gunners do your job

Why would he lie?

I don't doubt that he's being completely honest. There's no reason to think otherwise. Unless you have some sort of warped hatred of him.
