What I am saying is if you composed a list of top managers and players they COULD have signed, you wouldnt get to the end of that list.
Now this list of players AW states from time to time of attempting to sign could be taken many ways
1- his talent scouting is far superior to any one else, so he thought hey I'd rather have bendtner than messi I'll give the others a chance
2- any top manager has a wish list how realistic is it that messi would go to Arsenal, and when AW could have signed him possibly when he was younger shows how much of a mistake that was for AW
3.i would rather AW come out with we offered quad zillion pounds but he went for quad zillion more let's make it transparent to how serious he tried
4 remember this is the man that offered Suarez the famous + 1 pound deal, we are now seeing how much his transfer deals held the club back.
